Pan-Am EvoDevo (PASEDB) Service Award
2022 Recipient Billie Swala
This prestigious award will celebrate a colleague who has made exceptional contributions to the PASEDB and/or EvoDevo not strictly in research but also in teaching, education, outreach, critical service to PASEDB, or other aspects of serving our community. A plaque will be given to the award recipient in addition to complementary registration and housing at the PASEDB meeting.
Selection Criteria
Some combination of these qualities/characteristics:
• a foundational leadership role within the inception and/or growth of the PASEDB
• an exceptional impact on the teaching, communication and/or advocacy of EvoDevo
• an innovative, unique and undeniably valuable service to the EvoDevo community
